Data Protection Complaints Process

Last updated: 29 May 2026 · Reviewed annually

Precious Hosting is committed to handling your personal information responsibly and in line with UK data protection law. If you believe we have mishandled your personal data, or that we have failed to meet our obligations under UK GDPR or the Data Protection Act 2018, we want to hear from you and put things right.

This page explains how to raise a data protection complaint with us and what you can expect in response.

1. How to raise a complaint

You can contact us about a data protection concern by:

Email: info@precioushosting.co.uk
Post: Mad Tech Heads LTD, Office 7622, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London, E6 2JA

To help us handle your complaint quickly, please include:

  • Your name and preferred contact details
  • A clear description of your concern
  • Any relevant dates, account references, or invoice numbers
  • The outcome you would like us to consider
  • Copies of any related correspondence, if available

You don't need to use any specific form, and you don't need to know the legal background to make a complaint — just tell us what happened.

2. What happens next

  1. Acknowledgement — we'll acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days of receiving it.
  2. Investigation — we'll look into what happened. We may contact you for further information if needed.
  3. Response — we aim to provide a full written response within 30 calendar days. Our response will explain what we found, what (if anything) went wrong, and what action we'll take. If your complaint is unusually complex and we need more time, we'll tell you and explain why.
  4. Resolution — where appropriate, we'll take steps to put things right. This may include correcting records, changing our processes, or providing an explanation or apology.

3. If you are not satisfied with our response

You have the right to refer your complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's independent regulator for data protection.

You can contact the ICO at:

Website: ico.org.uk
Helpline: 0303 123 1113
Live chat: available via the ICO website
Post: Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF

You can refer a complaint to the ICO at any time, including without first contacting us. We always appreciate the chance to investigate and resolve concerns directly first.

4. Our ICO registration

Precious Hosting is a trading name of Mad Tech Heads LTD, which is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.

ICO registration number: ZC131659

You can verify our registration on the ICO's public register.

5. Your other rights

Under UK GDPR, you have several rights regarding your personal data, including:

  • The right to be informed about how we use your data
  • The right of access to a copy of your data
  • The right to have inaccurate data corrected
  • The right to have your data deleted (in certain circumstances)
  • The right to restrict or object to certain uses of your data
  • The right to data portability

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We'll respond within one month.
